*New York-October 21st - On Tuesday October 26th Def Jam Recordings along with Sha Money XL, One Stop Shop and AllHipHop.com bring you the first installment in a monthly series featuring the latest group of emerging artists-to-watch for in hip hop. Each event is comprised of an emcee cipher, unsigned artist showcase and live performances from artists on the Def Jam roster.

This month’s Cipher Session will be held at SOB’s featuring Def Jam/G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean, as well as Emilio Rojas, The Kid Daytona, Danny Brown, CurT@!n$, STS and Maffew Ragazino. Hot 97 and Heavy Hitter DJ Enuff will host the evening, while Hot 97’s DJ Quiz will provide the music. Bonsu Thompson, EIC of The Source, will host the emcee cipher featuring a handful of up and coming handpicked emcees as well as a few lucky emcee’s in attendance. AND there also might be a surprise “Special Guest” performance from another Def Jam artist (hint-hint).
